Surser runs a WordPress-based Website with info and resources about our survey platform, plus the App where you create, share, and analyze surveys. - Newsletter Subscriptions: Sign up for our updates, and we collect your email and, if you want, your name. We use a WordPress plugin (like MailPoet) to send you tips, news, and Surser promos.
- Analytics: Tools like Google Analytics collect anonymized data (e.g., pages visited, browser type, IP address) to help us make the Website better. No personal snooping!
- Contact Forms: Send us a message, and we grab your name, email, and what you typed to get back to you.

- Account Information: Register, and we collect your email. Premium users can add optional stuff like a business name for cool branded surveys. Firebase Authentication handles logins and may collect extra bits (like Google/Apple account info) – check Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Survey Data: Your survey questions, responses, and timestamps are stored. Responses are anonymous by default – we don’t know who said what unless you ask for names in your survey. Premium users can upload images or logos, kept secure with your survey.
- Usage Data: We collect anonymized stats on how you use the App (e.g., features clicked, session time) to keep things running smoothly.
- IP Address: When you submit a survey response, we may collect your IP to prevent spam or duplicate entries (like pesky bots). IPs aren’t linked to responses and are deleted within 30 days or once the anti-abuse job is done, unless needed for legal reasons.

Advertising
Our ads are like friendly roadside signs, not creepy trackers. We use a simple .json file to show random affiliate ads on free-tier business surveys or public survey pages. No user data is used – just deals we think you’ll like, whether you’re a business or a survey-taker. No profiling, no nonsense.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
The Website might have YouTube videos or social media posts in blogs. These act like you’re visiting those sites, which could use cookies or track you. Check their privacy policies (e.g., YouTube’s). The App doesn’t embed third-party content but may link to payment processors for premium plans, with their own policies.
Sensitive Data Restrictions
We keep it chill by blocking survey questions asking for sensitive stuff like SSNs, addresses, or IPs. Our App’s secure, but we don’t want the hassle of handling that, and neither do you. This keeps your feedback loops safe and simple while we work on smarter filters.

We only share what’s needed to run Surser or follow the law:

How Long We Retain Your Data
We keep it short and sweet:
Website
- Newsletter Subscriptions: Kept until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
- Contact Forms: Held for one year for follow-ups, then gone.
- Analytics: Anonymized data stays up to 26 months with Google Analytics.
App
- Account Information: Kept while your account’s active. Delete your account, and it’s gone in 30 days, except for legal needs.
- Survey Data: Questions and responses stay until you delete them or your account ends. Premium images go with the survey.
- Usage Data: Anonymized stats stick around for up to 24 months.
- IP Addresses: Deleted within 30 days after bot protection or lockout use, unless legally required.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data

- Website: Hosted in the USA, with newsletter data via Amazon SES (USA).
- App: Hosted in the USA, with Firebase authentication in USA/EU (see Google’s Privacy Policy).
- Analytics: Google Analytics uses USA servers.
We follow laws for data transfers, using standard clauses for international moves.
